Electromagnetic fail-safe disc brake

Application:

Compared to drum brakes, the 450SE electromagnetic fail-safe disc brake offers several advantages, such as a more compact structure, higher braking force, and easier installation. It is primarily used for mechanical braking or deceleration in various industries, including lifting, transportation, metallurgy, mining, ports, construction machinery, cable and hoisting equipment, wind turbines, and textile machinery.

Main features

High braking force, similar to that of industrial brakes.

In case of overspeed detection, it functions as an emergency brake. Under normal conditions, it operates as a static brake with a short response time.

The brake allows for large installation tolerances, with the runout of the brake disc surface not exceeding ±0.2mm, and the perpendicularity deviation of the base relative to the disc not exceeding 0.4%.

Notes:

1)The ST1SE and ST2SE models are mainly designed as safety brakes, but they can also be used as working brakes if the usage frequency is low.

2)The 5SE, 450SE, 4SE, and 3SE models are equipped with automatic lining wear compensation devices, ensuring stable braking torque.

Using Conditions

Ambient temperature:-20℃~50℃。

The surrounding environment must be free of flammable and explosive gases during operation.  

The air relative humidity should not exceed 90%.  

The altitude of the usage location must comply with the GB755-2008 standard.  

For outdoor use, where the equipment may be exposed to rain, snow, or corrosive gases and media, corrosion-resistant products should be used.
